Duco stays glossier and cleaner for longer – requiring much fewer washes, because it repels road tar, silicons, waxes, bugs, bird droppings, tree sap, water and dirt in general.
Washing is a breeze. Dirt simply wipes off and after chamiosing dry it looks like it’s just been polished.
It was manufactured to combat the growing problems with the newer hard and ceramic clear coats. These have larger pours and a rough orange peel look. Ultra Shine significantly reduces this appearance.
Unlike other paint protective products on the market, “Ultra Shine” doesn’t rely on sticking to your paintwork. Instead it chemically bonds with your duco – creating a tough glass like protective coating that flexes, expands and contracts along with the duco. It locks in that deep shine, as well as being incredibly tough – protecting your duco from the harmful effects of the sun, corrosion and oxidation.

PACKAGES, PRICING & PROCEDURES
Packages
To achieve optimal results and the deepest shine on anything other than brand new duco, generally some degree of paint rectification is required.
To cater for this our packages include professional polishing to remove swirl marks, scratches and imperfections prior to applying “Ultra Shine”. Our processes and products utilize silicate technology that permanently remove imperfections. This is in stark contrast to the conventional use of perishable fillers which only disguise paint imperfections (by temporarily filling them). All these products will require reapplication – often referred to as 12 monthly “top ups” or 12 monthly “inspections” in order to maintain the warrantee.
We have specialized in the top end of automotive paint services since March 1993, so you will not come across any one more proficient when it comes to obtaining the most optimal results from a professional polish. As well as specializing in polishing, we are experts in everything to do with automotive paintwork and refinishing.
We require a prior inspection before booking in any vehicle and let customers know about any concerns we may have – including whether anything other than our packaged professional polishing may be required.

Pricing
“ULTRA SHINE” Paint Protection with glass and alloy rim treatment PLUS Professional Pre- Polish $750.00 + gst For standard sized vehicles – Toyota Corolla through to Ford Falcon Wagon sized.
Extra $150.00 + gst for larger vehicles such as Toyota Prados.
Procedures
1. We ask that vehicles are delivered relatively clean – including inside the door shuts.
2. A pre-wash including inside the door shuts
3. A thorough degreasing clean to remove contaminants including road tar, silicons, waxes, and detergents – which have the potential of compromising Ultra Shine’s bond with the duco.
4. The alloy rims are hand scrubbed clean.
5. Industrial overspray and contaminants are removed from the duco’s pores on all top surfaces using a clay block.
6. A special chemical cleaner is mechanically worked into the duco and then hand polished of with microfiber cloths. This has the dual purpose of bringing contaminants within the paintwork to the surface – where they can be wiped off, as well as chemically fusing swirl marks and minor scratches (as opposed to filling them – which is conventional). Fusing is more permanent solution.
At this stage the duco is completely naked. All the contaminants and fillers (hiding scratches and blemishes in the duco) have been removed. The true state of the paint work has been revealed.
We encourage interested customers to view their duco at this stage. Most car enthusiast participate in this.
7. The duco is then inspected and a specific paint rectification plan is devised to remove as many and as much of the defects as possible.
8. After the duco rectification has been completed, the Stage 6 cleaning process is repeated.
9. Next the vehicle is thoroughly checked for imperfections such as polish marks, dust, hand marks or similar. These need to be removed before the glass type sealers are applied – otherwise they will be trapped underneath.
10. Finally a two stage silicate sealer and then protectant is applied (including to the glass and alloy rims). Within 24 hours this will harden to a glass like state which will flex, expand and contract along with the car’s duco.
What makes “Ultra Shine” unique and superior
Ultra Shine Paint Protection is superior to all other products in three ways;
1. Firstly it doesn’t rely on sticking to the paint surfaces – like all other polishes and paint protectants on the market.
Ultra Shine chemically bonds with the paintwork actually becoming a protectant top coat. It becomes part of the paintwork and can only be removed by sanding it off.
It is silicate technology which cures to a glass like state within 24 hours. Once cured it flexes, expands and contract along with the paintwork as it responds to movement and changes in temperature.
2. Secondly unlike other polishes and paint protectants on the market, it does NOT rely on perishable fillers (that can wear away in time) to cover up paint imperfections, swirl marks, scratches and blemishes.
Ultra Shine and it’s application involves fusing and permanently rectifying blemishes prior to sealing off the paintwork with a chemically bonded glass like protectant sealer.
So because it DOESN’T rely on perishable fillers that WILL wear away in time, it doesn’t need to be reapplied for up to 10 years.
3. Thirdly Ultra Shine maintains it’s deep shine for longer by keeping your vehicle cleaner for much longer – requiring much fewer washes. It does this by repelling road tar, silicon, waxes, bugs, bird droppings, detergents, water and dirt in general.
Because of this, washing your car is a breeze.
At the same time it protects the paint from the degenerative effects of the sun, corrosion and oxidation.
